Franse kunstenaar - surrealistische Jean-Claude Desplanques werd geboren in Normandië in 1936, raakte geïnteresseerd in de schilderkunst sinds 8 jaar. Geheel wijdde zich aan de schilderkunst in 1960. Afgestudeerd aan de School voor Schone Kunsten.

Zijn mythische wezens, geweldig en sublieme personages nemen ons mee naar zijn fantastisch, soms theatraal schilderachtige wereld waar bewind van schoonheid, gratie en harmonie.
