Petras Lukosius about a ray of light in a dark forest

This Lithuanian artist organically combines in himself an inner attraction to the sacred moments created by nature itself, love of the sun and contemplation of its rays. Petras Lukosius was born back in Soviet Lithuania, already in the distant 1956. As a teenager, at the age of fourteen, he began to attend the Klaipeda Children's Art School, similar electives were open to all comers and absolutely free. Then he entered the Technical College of Decorative and Applied Art "Telsiai". But this education seemed to him inadequate, and in 1979 he graduated from the Applied Arts Department of the Vilnius Academy. Being a pupil of the senior classes, he already took part in numerous exhibitions. And nowadays his paintings are decorated with homes in almost all countries of the world. And no wonder - so very life-affirming is the plot chosen by him forever.

The dark forest always looks ominous. It's not for nothing that Russian idioms use this idiom extensively: there is nothing to find in it, because it is impassable and you can not see anything. One hope - a ray of light, he alone is able to drastically change the situation. Petras Lukosius is a Latvian artist, therefore he is a great connoisseur of dark forests, because such is his homeland. In addition, this unbridled nature is so consistent with the national temperament. Obviously, with the choice of the topic he did not have a moment of doubt.

A bright beam in the paintings of Petras Lukosius passes through the thickness of the crowns of trees, and opens them in this layer. It can be seen how he literally pushes his way, and his strength is so great that he has no reason to doubt his own success. His way is life itself, and she, as you know, always finds a way out.
