Johan Mari Ten Kate
(The Hague 1831-1910 Driebergen) He studied at the Academy of Art in The Hague. After a trip to Paris, he lived in Amsterdam from 1857-71 and 1880-90 in England. Kate works mainly depict scenes of children and life at sea, as well as landscapes.
