  Gustave Loiseau (fr. Gustave Loiseau) was born in Paris in 1865 in the family of the owner of the butcher shop. In his youth he studied with a decorator, a friend of his parents. In 1887, received an inheritance from his grandmother, Loiseau fully dedicates his life to painting. He stops in Montmartre and attends the School of Decorative Arts in the year. Then he took lessons from Fernanda JUST Kinona. In 1890 Loiseau first went to Pont Aven, where he met with artists such as Paul Gauguin, Maxime Maufra, Emile Bernard and others. Loiseau became a member of the so-called Pont-Avenskoy school (école de Pont-Aven) - community of artists working in town of Pont-Aven in Brittany. In 1891 Loiseau exhibits his work in the gallery in Le Barc Butteville Indépendants and Salon in 1893. In 1894 he participated in the VI, VII and VIII exhibitions of Impressionist and Symbolist in Le Barc.

In 1895, after a period of exploration and divisionism, he returns to his landscapes painted in the style of Neo-Impressionism. Loiseau stroke develops technology, the so-called (treillis - lattice), which gives the painting its softness, almost palpable, and is a characteristic feature of his style. In the same year, participates in the cabin Société Nationale. C 1903 to 1930 regularly exhibited at the Salon d'Automne.

He was an outstanding and original artist ... "- these words are often heard about Merab Guramovich Abramishvili. And the artist himself felt that his letter is different from all standards painting. In his youth Moorabi not signed his work and did not seek international recognition, yet However, his life had numerous exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, Poland, his works are in the National Museum in Cologne, Finland, the United States and in private collections.



Merab Abramishvili born March 16, 1957, began to draw very early. We can say that all of his childhood - it echoes up childhood dreams on canvas. He studied at the Art School. Jacob Nikoladze (Tbilisi, Georgia), but was Alexander (Alex) Bandzeladze, private studio which became a real school for Merab artistic skill. Merab often recalled the years spent there with great gratitude, Alexander was not only an outstanding teacher, but also a man endowed with many virtues.



In his youth, Merab took part in a scientific expedition organized to study the frescoes of the temple Ateni Sioni Church (Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in the village of Ateni, near the town of Gori in Georgia, built in the VII century). This expedition was led by the father of Merab, Guram Abramishvili, art critic and PhD. Expedition strongly influenced the formation of his personality. "For me, Ateni, as a primary source. Here, I'm filled with energy, and I write most of the day and night." - Says the artist. He began to draw up the temple frescoes Ateni Sioni and continued this work for many years



The eighties were for Merab years formation as a professional artist. In 1981 he finished the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, and in 1987 he wrote his first important work, "Three hundred aragvian." In order to achieve artistic expression he uses gesso technique (from the Greek. Leukós - white) - the ancient art of fresco.
